Catching up on 2 months of happenings

Haven't posted since Easter!! The school year ended on June 18, and we've managed to remain busy with our own home projects since then, leaving me with micro-time -- just enough for microblogging. But since I'm sure we'll have some massive posts to make when we return from our month-long trip to China and the Philippines, I figure I better make a quick update before we go!

So let's see, aside from work, what has the Blackmer family done since Easter?

Partied at the PTA Celebration for the dedication of our new school building (6 years in the making)

Raced, kicked, and tugged at field day

Played softball at the US Embassy

Attended the birthday party of Nathan's Danish girlfriend, Selma

Toured the Grand Candy factory

Admired Vahe's first photo exhibition

Celebrated Ben's 30th birthday at Karma

Remodeled the master bathroom (actually not quite finished yet)

Represented USF at the first alumni education fair at Yerevan State University

Stopped to smell the roses

Ate too much ice cream in Republic Square

Stayed up late to watch the lunar eclipse

Discovered a great place to share a memorable meal with CSers

Splashed around at the Student Council's end-of-year Water Party

Honored Father's Day with a brunch at Artbridge Cafe

Played more softball

And passed out from exhaustion!
