Getting in the Christmas Spirit

It's the weekend after Thanksgiving, and that means it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas -- at least here at our apartment...still a bit early for the rest of Armenia! We're streaming 94.9 FM, Tampa's "Official Christmas Music Station," Nathan's running around in Santa pajamas, and Mommy's baking holiday spiced pumpkin bread.

We're not sure what to do about decor this year. We'll be in Brussels from December 20-29, so we'll celebrate a Western-style Christmas there, but when we return, there's still New Year's and Armenian Christmas on January 6. Should we put up the scrawny tree from years past, go get a nice new one already, or skip the tree altogether?

Now to get started on those Christmas cards!

Of course, I would say a real tree~~always! You could make it a tradition each year by getting a tree the same height as Nathan. As he grows, your tree will get bigger & bigger, no doubt. Would make very interesting Christmas photos & memories as each year passes. Would be fun.
I love these pictures of nathan; GOSH he's so cute!!
